NoTube | Graz model for tube weaning
The founders of NoTube, Prof. Marguerite Dunitz-Scheer and Prof. Peter Scheer, have more than 30 years of clinical experience in the treatment of early childhood eating disorders. They developed a highly effective and internationally recognized treatment model, the “Graz Model for tube weaning”. This comprehensive model follows a multidisciplinary child-centred approach and takes your child’s physical, sensory and psychological challenges into account. You as a parent will also learn how to help your child make a successful transition to normal eating behaviour. NoTube specializes in the counselling, treatment and therapy of tube dependence and other eating disorders in infancy and childhood such as picky eating, oral aversion or infantile anorexia.
NoTube is specialised in the therapy and treatment of children with feeding tubes
ONLINE: NoTube’s telemedical programs includes web-based counselling for parents and their children. The idea is to support the children in the environment in which they feel most comfortable and safe – at home! This leads to a high success rate and reduces the risk of hospital infections and other traumatic experiences – and is even cheaper.
ONSITE: In our Eating School in Graz (Austria) we offer courses for children and their families in small groups. The work with a team of therapists from different fields, as well as the interaction of the families and especially the children among each other are our success factors. Our team of experts has profound clinical experience with early childhood tube dependence and other eating issues.
