Valérie Sulzer graduated from high school at the Lycée Professionnel Fontainebleau in France and subsequently began her training to become a qualified educator for children aged 0-6 years with emphasis on infants with special disabilities and needs. In 1992, Valérie moved to Austria and shortly thereafter, was faced with the complexities and challenges of early childhood eating disorders while interning at the Psychosomatic Department at the University Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent in Graz. She gained further professional experiences as a life coach for mothers and their young children at the women’s shelter as well as working at several kindergartens and as a child minder for more than ten years. Due to her own experiences as a mother of three, Valérie can fully understand the difficult situation parents face, when their own child’s health is at risk. Since 2008, Valérie is a member of the German Association for Infant Mental Health (GAIMH), conducts systemic-educational coaching sessions for immediate crises, emergencies and conflict management and has recently completed her training as an academic-educational coach.
